i jus had my experience with the worst attitude a customer can get from an aftersales team.. n i swear i m gona give some ‘feedback’ (read complains) to the main office..
… story goes like that…
I sent my laptop down for servicing on 10th Dec and the guy told me that it would take 3-5 working days.. I had to make a trip down on 17th Dec to check on the status and they told me that the parts would only arrive in 4-5 working days..
I waited for a freakin’ 2 weeks and did not receive any call from them. And when I tried to call them again, I was put to the voice mail once and cut off the other time. So I had to make a trip down to the service centre personally to check on the status..
that was when things started to go down hill
the stupid nerd who attended to me had the worst attitude I had ever seen in a sales person.. He was rude and arrogant.. He checked his records and went into the storeroom for eternity to find my laptop..
When he walked out with the laptop, he had the cheek to say that the records says that it has been collected oreadi.. If is has been collected, then wad the hell issit doing in your storeroom?
Next, he claims that they have called me to inform me that the laptop has been ready for collection since the 18th. But I haven’t received any calls from the service centre at all! Furthermore, I had to personally go down and check because the phone calls I made did not even get through to the technician in charge!!
This rude ass, then gave me a whole lot of excuses to why i didn’t receive their phone calls.. The conversation went something like that.. Andy was there too, so he helped me to scold the shit out of the guy
Andy : If the laptop has been ready for collection, why wasn’t there any phone call to inform us?
R (rude ass) : Our records show that a phone call has been made.
Ven : My phone has been switched on 24/7 since I sent the laptop here for servicing. I couldn’t have missed a phone call from your side.
R : Maybe your phone battery was switched off or out of battery at that time.
V : I would know better if my phone was not working or had any miss calls.
R : That I am not sure, but I am certain that my guys have made the phone call to you
WTF!! Which person in the service line speaks like that?
When Andy asked for the name of the guy who took in my laptop for servicing, tt asshole had the cheek to say “If you want to complain, you can complain on our entire team. B’cos there is no one person who handles your laptop. It is passed frm one person to another”
I swear I would have punched hm if I was a little more uncivilised..
This has been my worse experience with ppl in the service line. And I swear never to go back there if I ever need to service my laptop..
As I am typing this, I am thinking how to put this in a more sacarstic form for the HQ to take the necesary action..
They beta give me an acceptable response. I am not letting this matter end just like that
